The Women’s Sexual Health program aims to promote good sexual health and wellbeing to the women of the Fitzroy Valley. It is important for young women to develop a strong sense of identity, self-esteem, healthy relationships, and self-confidence within themselves, and any decisions they make regarding their sexual health and wellbeing.
The Sexual Health team delivers the Mooditj program in town and Community schools, and also coordinates the Condom Tree Project across various locations around town. The Women’s Sexual Health Officer also organises women’s health events and sessions within town and in Community, where women can learn about sexual wellbeing in a safe space.
